Weekly Bandit Gang Content Update #6

Welcome to your weekly Bandit Gang content update.

Hello Strays of Spalla!

Thank you for opening up this article today. We had a tremendous week so far, including the The Bandit Hideaway Episode 5  with special guests Jason Slama and Pawel Burza was a huge success, the Battle of The Bandits 4 which was casted by Weevil89 and myself, a wonderful new signing to the team in Ithlinne Magi, the very first episode of our Beginner Series, and of course the Bandit of the Month of April.

But, before I go more in depth in a few of those subjects, I would like say that I am really proud of what we are doing with Bandit Gang as of late. We are truly shaping ourselves as one of the most established teams in Gwent. Of course, there is still much to be done, but we are getting there step for step. So I just want to say a quick thanks to the team and that I hope we can continue to have fun working together and doing all kinds of projects! Perhaps I will write more about this one day…

A warm welcome to the latest addition to the Admin Team!

This week, Denpai and I decided to take on Ithlinne as our Community Manager because we felt there was a need for a dedicated person that would want to take care of our socials and communicate with you all in the Discord. And Ithlinne has previously shown interest in the team and has the experience, so it was match made in heaven. If you want to know a bit more about Ithlinne, you can read her very first interview with us here.

The very first episode of our Beginner Series!

This week we introduced our Beginner Series for Gwent, or BGinner Series as some of you would say. The idea of this series is to introduce new players to the game and where we will be going through several aspects that the game has to offer. This series of videos came from the mastermind of GhostArya, and with the help of TheOneChristo and Enzo it turned out to be a magnificent group project. They will continue to work hard behind the scenes to deliver you the beginner content that you have been hungering for!

Bandit of the Month April

Without further ado, we are more than happy to announce that the Bandit Gang of the Month of April is GhostArya! As mentioned in the previous segment, Arya started the Beginner Series and has been taking the lead on this project for a while now to make sure all the info is gathered and people are putting the required work in it. So, you could say that she has shown to be a person you can rely on, which makes my job just so much easier. Here is a clip of me revealing the BOTM during the co-op we had on her stream a few days ago and her reaction is just priceless.

Ithlinne Magi’s First Interview | Welcome To Bandit Gang | Exclusive

Babyjosus: What does it mean to you now you’re officially a part of BG?

Ithlinne Magi: It feels like walking into a room full of friends where I don’t have to pretend to be anything other than myself. I can talk about gaming and not feel like a nerdy outsider who no one gets. Honestly, you can’t put a price on that.

BJ: What made you join BG?

IM: As you know, I was formerly with Team Sensual. They are really lovely guys, but as the only native English speaker(and non-Spanish speaker) on the team, it felt a tad disjointed, I didn’t really feel part of the team. That’s not a poor reflection on them, they did what they could, but when you asked me if I was still interested to be Community Manager for BG, it felt like the right time to take on a new challenge.

BJ: What can people expect of you now that you are with BG?

IM: Well, writing is in my veins, so maybe the odd article for the team website, as long as I’m allowed to talk about Lippy, of course! Other than that, lots of promoting both the wonderful streamers we have in BG as well as our talented content creators who take the time to write about the game they love.

BJ: How well suited are you to the life of a Community Manager?

IM: Oh, well I love social media and I spend a huge amount of time on various social platforms, so managing the team’s social interactions is perfect for me. If you can overlook the less than polite people that you inevitably find there, it can be an amazing place for forging friendships, and the Gwent community is by and large a fantastic thing to be a part of.

BJ: What message would you give to the supporters of BG?

IM: Firstly, thank you for their support! We have a team of memers and dreamers, of competitive players and content creators whose diversity means that there’s something for everyone, from new players looking to start their Gwent journey, to seasoned pros looking for fun decks to play on ladder (triple Commandos, anyone?). I look forward to being a part of this diverse and talented team!
