Welcome

Obzio’s First Interview | Welcome To Bandit Gang | Exclusive

Babyjosus: What does it mean to you now you are officially part of BG?

Obzio: It’s an honour. Validation is not something that I actively sought, but being accepted into a group of lovely individuals with a shared passion for gaming and content creation means a lot.

BJ: What made you join team BG?

O: First, the people. Whilst I was interested is learning more about what teams do I was still new and didn’t know much about most teams. Then I was approached and after pondering I was excited for the opportunity. But unfortunately my personal circumstances made me very busy initially to commit myself. But throughout the difficult time, the people in Team BG were not only patient, but checked up on me and helped me a lot. Huge shout out to Mercernn and Decode789 here for being all around awesome human beings. Second, I’m not the best player at Gwent since I’m still new. But I LOVE trying my hand at deck building to make something fun! Team BG was the obvious choice because of the focus on meme decks and theme snapshots. I hope to one day be able to make fun to play thematic or meme decks that will be viable for competitive play and team BG is the perfect place for that.

Pokka88’s First Interview | Welcome To Bandit Gang | Exclusive

Babyjosus: What does it mean to you now you are officially part of BG?

Pokkas88: I must say that I am really excited for the chance to be a part of team Bandit Gang!! I am elated to have the opportunity to be able to work closely with a few of my favorite Gwent content creators in a very competitive, demanding, but also friendly and supportive environment. I consider this to be a privilege but also a challenge to be a part of this community!!

BJ: What made you join team BG?

P: Since I started playing Gwent back in March 2020, I have been interacting a lot with many Gwent content creators (mostly via Twitch & Discord) A lot of these creators were members of team BG and I always enjoyed the interactions I had with them. Content creation is all about exploring new and unique ideas and I was always excited in seeing some fantastic, “thinking out-of-the-box” content that comes from these creators. I identify myself as a meme enthusiast as I love exploring all the “what-if” type of scenarios. I believe that by playing around with your own ideas, making your own homebrew decks and putting them to the test is the only real way for a Gwent player to actually become better at the game (and also have fun). Team BG was always a big source of inspiration for me so I felt like here I will be able to further my Gwent knowledge while also being able to give something back to my fellow Gwent players.

SuinoValente’s First Interview | Welcome To Bandit Gang | Exclusive

Babyjosus: What does it mean to you now you are officially part of BG?

SuinoValente: It means a lot to me. Since I started streaming Gwent, I always wanted to be a part of an organized, international Gwent team and I think BG is the coolest one around. Everyone has been so nice and supportive to me since day one, which makes me very excited about being a part of this team.

BJ: What made you join team BG?

SV: Since Suinovalente is translated from Portuguese to English as “the brave pig”, why not join the Gwent team that has a pig as its symbol? Jokes aside, I always wanted to be a part of a Gwent team. I like this game a lot and want to have some mates to be able to share the experience with, discuss decks, do some co-ops and have a nice time while playing or streaming. Besides that, during my little journey as a streamer I encountered some other Gwent teams through their  streamers and I found BG to be the coolest one from my perspective. Many of the bigger teams are very focused on the competitive aspect of Gwent and sometimes seem to forget about the fun element of the game. That’s not the kind of spirit you’d get to see on my stream for instance. When I saw some other BG members like Mercernn and Kalvino streaming, I was surprised pleasantly, since those guys have very fun streams with non-stop chat interaction. It gave me a very good impression of the team and I thought instantly that that’s the kind of people that I like to watch and that kind of experience that I would like to provide for my viewers as well. So, why not try to join their team and be a part of it?
